I loved Molly in the WW2 time period of the 1940’s. She retired before I knew much about the dolls. I Had read the AG stories to my daughters and my niece. So love the 1920’s- Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald- the Charleston; the 1930’s & 40’s with great books like Gone With the Wind and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn; the Jitter-bug of the 40’s. Love the patterns of those era’s you offer such a nice variety. Wish you could bring Molly back! Thanks

My favorite era of clothing would involve wedding dress patterns for Felicity during the Colonial Period . Kit’s time period during the 1930’s would be a close second. While there are many party dress patterns for dolls I rarely see any wedding dress patterns. I think this is an area that is overlooked even though I realize it would be a more involved pattern. I think everyone likes to think of this special day in their doll’s time period.

My favorite era of clothing is Victorian English during the 18th century. I loved the fabrics used then-the laces, silks and velvets and the unusual ways the dresses were crafted. The transfer to doll clothes could be very interesting especially with the scale of trimmings .

My personal favorite has to be the turn of the century styles that are made by Thimbles and acorns, Crabapples, and Eden Ava. My favorite doll is Rebecca even though I don’t remember exactly what era she is right now. I mostly sew for current erra and 1940’s and 50’s because they are my kids’ favorites. That’s how I found Liberty Jane in the first place. I would like to see a nice sailor dress pattern because it comes back through so many different erras.

My favorite fashion era spans the 1920’s, 30’s 40’s, world-wide. I’d love to make matching flapper outfits for one of my dancing granddaughters and her doll. Those newsboy hats are so spunky, for both boys and girls. I’ve made several. I would like to see more patterns that replicate actual child clothing, rather than adult styles. Society is pushing kids to grow up too fast, and this is reflected in the styles of dolls clothes. Let’s have more kid clothes. My granddaughters want more “play clothes, not so many dresses.” Thank you for your generosity in having this give-away.

We have dolls going back to Pleasant Company with Felicity, Samantha style Girl Like Me, Josiphina, Lindsey (girl of the year), and many more. We love the Colonial and Medieval period. Started with dolls for our now 29 year old and now for grands and nieces! Just started a 6 year old with a new Madame Alexander play doll (due to facial expression) and her 3 year old sister with a Bitty Baby I found discarded in perfect condition at our local Goodwill. She had no clothes so I will be busy! Love your patterns and the quality.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is Victorian. Specifically, steampunk stuff. I’d love to see a pattern for clothing from the Roaring ’20’s though, because there’s just not enough. Not the weird, Halloween-esque flapper so many people picture, either. But an actual, accurate depiction of what was worn during the 1920’s. Fashion during that time was shifting and changing by leaps and bounds, and there were so many amazing styles. It would be so cool to see some of that reflected in doll clothing.
