My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finishing one project before starting another.
My biggest crotchet challenge is that things end up too bulky for dolls; knitting seems smoother.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is … I got a new serger several months ago and still haven’t found the time to learn to use it.
My biggest sewing challenge is accessing my supplies! Everything is boxed up and digging it out tends to take up my entire sewing time.
My biggest sewing challenge is in trying new techniques … doing something that I haven’t done before. I get so intimidated, but I love when it turns out alright and I learn something new to boot. Thanks for the giveaway!
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing all the tiny pieces! I feel like I’m all thumbs!
I love sewing and quilting. Seeing these doll clothes reminds me of how I started sewing . Yes it was doll clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge is working with teeny, tiny parts like cuffs, etc. :(
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is deciding which (of the way too many patterns that I have) to work on today LOL
My biggest sewing, knitting, crocheting challenge is finding a person who knits or crochets that wants to teach and has a compatible schedule. I’m not good at catching the stitches on video… and reading the patterns from a book… Eeeek
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is completing my projects. Love to find a project, love to buy the material - getting it done – that is the most challenging part
My biggest creative challenge whether knitted or sewn is finishing the project. I get started, work away on the project and struggle to finish before I am distracted by my next project.
My biggest sewing, knitting or crochet challenge is knit fabric I just made my first project and hope it isn’t my last
My biggest challenge is my lack of focus. I find the perfect pattern, fabric, notions, etc. I get about 1/2 way done and I get distracted by the next perfect pattern, maybe this one is knitted instead of sewn. So I put the first one aside and start on the second. Then it happens again!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is a full victorian costume for me from underpinnings to outer garments.
My biggest challenge is figuring out how the different patterns of fabric go together.
My biggest challenge is increasing or decreasing a pattern for other dolls & teddy bears.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is being a perfectionist. I want everything to be as nice and perfect as I can get it, so when something goes a little wrong or gets out of line, It always ends up seeming like nothing is up to my standards and I always feel the need to start over when it’s all actually just fine.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is FINDING THE TIME!. the day goes so fast…even if I set aside specific times. hope it will be better in the new year.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is a combination of things, finding time, money, and sometimes energy with arthritis and fibromyalgia. But I enjoy being creative and doing what ever i can, it keeps my mind off my medical condition. Thanks, enjoy the patterns etc. found in this website.
Happy New Year everyone! My biggest sewing challenge is completing one sewing projects for my two granddaughters before they arrive at my house with their newest wish list. My seven year old granddaughter received some type of a clothing and accessory “designing” kit and is having a wonderful time designing her clothes and asking Grandma to turn them into reality. And of course each outfit must have matching outfit for their AG dolls.
My biggest challenge is motivation with crocheting. I try to make hats with a brim and I end up with a mini rug for the 18" dolls.
Reading the comments so many are saying their biggest challenge is finding time to sew. I certainly understand that as it is my biggest challenge right now as I’m a caregiver for my disabled husband. And much of my time is taken up caring for him but I REALLY miss making doll clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing something before the NEXT shiny thing attracts my attention!
My biggest challenge is time and money. time and energy to sit and money to buy needed supplies. nearest fabric store is 45 min away. due to complications after a surgery I cant drive yet and someone has to take me .
My biggest challenge is choosing fabrics that coordinate well.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to start a project.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to even start a project.
My biggest challenge is staying focused on one project long enough to finish it. There are so many cute patterns and projects, I tend to jump from one project to another, and have trouble really finishing one before starting the next. I also get interrupted in the projects which makes it difficult to get back to finish them.
My biggest challenge is finishing what I start!
Biggest challenge is organizing my enormous stash so I don’t look like a hoarder. Seriously…every room.
so many ideas so little time.
My biggest sewing and knitting challenge is finding the time to create all that I see and want! So many patterns, so little time! (Or maybe I just have too many sizes of dolls to create for!)
My biggest sewing, knitting or crochet challenge is Woking with tiny sewing on the machine.
My biggest sewing challenge is staying focused from the beginning to end of the project. I have these visions in my head of what it will look like but then it takes to long or a part is too hard and I give up.
My biggest challenge in sewing is finding doll size notions for 18 inch dolls and sewing the tiny curved seams for doll clothes!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is just getting started!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is constantly finding new techniques and fiber crafts i want to learn. I see one little thing on the internet and suddenly I HAVE to learn nalbinding. Then knitting, then weaving…. etc.
My biggest challenge was making a Brocade blouse. I had to Serge all of the pieces to keep them from fraying.
My biggest knitting challenge is finding yarn in the right color and weight for the projects
Mu biggest struggle is making time to sew and to keep all my supplies and projects organized!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is sewing with thin knits. My machine likes to eat them!
Finding time! That and not making my son feel left out when I sew things for my daughter.
I live in Northern Alberta, Canada; I have a granddaughter in Ca and Us with American Girl Dolls; my biggest issue is getting material to make them matching outfits since I am considered isolation and 5 hrs drive from the nearest fabric store. When I get shopping either in US or Can I really stock up. Love making the girls clothes for their 18" and 14" dolls
My biggest challenge is finding the time to make the doll clothing I have downloaded from Pixie Faire. I sew as a costumer for a ballet company and it takes a major portion of my time when I want to work on doll clothes!
My biggest challenge is finding time to do all the sewing, knitting and crocheting I love between work and more work
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing quilts for our church. I have at least 12 quilt tops with the backing but haven’t quilted them yet.
Mine was when my daughter broke her foot and we went up to help with cooking picking up and dropping of the grandkids etc. she had bought material to make everyone at her work ornaments. Took me forever!
…finding time for my hobby.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is having so many ideas and not enough time to create them. I love to sew and have been doing so for over 60 years. I’m glad I have this skill; it allows me to help others and make special orders for those who want them.
My biggest challenge is sewing tiny curves on doll clothes on the serger.
My biggest sewing challenge is light: at this time of year in Alaska, even using an overhead light, a pole Ott light, a table Ott light, and a 4-light library lamp, I can barely see the stitches…even using a magnifier! In the summer, it is the opposite, but I’m always outdoors gardening or hiking.
My biggest challenge with all of them is not having been taught or taught myself.
My biggest challenge is finding the time to finish projects
My biggest challenge is sewing on stretchy fabric, BUT I’m getting better after using some of the tips from Cinnamon!
My biggest sewing challenge is merely finding the time in which to do it. Our older son and his two year old son live with us now. I don’t even get to get out of my grandson’s sight to go in the bathroom by myself anymore! He’ll only be this little and this attached to me for a while, though, so sewing can wait.
My biggest challenge is keeping my supplies organized so I can find them when I need them. I have often repurchased items that I have because I couldn’t find something.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is to not get distracted by other things and to actually begin sewing.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding enough time to get it done.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is having commitments to others take away from potential sewing time, and back pain from periods of sewing.

My biggest challenge for sewing is getting done all of my unfinished projects!!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding time to do it!

Sewing, knitting & crochet are all the methods that I use to make doll clothes…just need more time..:)
My biggest sewing challenge is with finishing seams where closures are to be put.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finishing one project before starting another. I have multiple projects in various stages of completion. Hope I live long enough!
Since knitting and crocheting are big challenges all on their own and I don’t do them, my biggest sewing challenge is making tiny buttonholes
My biggest challenge for sewing is just to ignore all the other things I feel I should be doing and just sew. It’s for my benefit to enjoy sewing and I usually allow myself To be last.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is sewing for very tiny dolls.
My biggest challenge is giving my sewing away. I enjoy everything I make and want to keep it all lol.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to sew!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew now a days. I do not know how to knit or crochet, but would like to learn.
My biggest challenge is trying to prioritize the many, many, many projects that I want to do. I have doll dresses to make, quilts for the dolls, quilts for philanthropic, quilts for Quilts of Valor, etc etc. Sigh, if only there were more hours in the days.
finishing a project before starting something else
My biggest sewing challenge is getting an item done for my granddaughter before she comes over with her doll to put it on the doll. Even if it’s not done she wants it now ! ! So I just make time in the evening or early morning to get it finished ! !
We love Pixie Fairie patterns and the teaching series. My 3 granddaughters have all learned to sew using these tools. I’m so sad that the youngest is now 13 and says she’s too old to play with dolls. But I love to see my girls apply the techniques they have learned and are now designing and sewing their own clothes. Thanks for it all.
My biggest sewing challenge is ignoring the dishes that need to be washed.
My biggest sewing or crochet challenge is organization and choosing what project will be next.

My biggest sewing challenge is trying to resist buying fabric when I already have way too much! Oops, did I actually say that? Ha! What can I say, I love fabrics!
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing a project before starting a new one
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to make the clothes. There are so many adorable patterns!
My biggest challenge is organizing my projects. I want to do SO many things! Today I have already looked up the yarn for a crochet project, a vintage dress for myself, machine embroidery patterns, Mickey ears for next year’s annual Disney trip…You get the picture ;)
My biggest challenge when sewing, knitting, or crocheting is to use what I have on hand instead of buying new supplies. I have multiple projects.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting buttonholes where I want them.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is not getting distracted by another new project before I finish the current one. Also it would help if I spent more time actually working on the projects and less time at the computer finding new inspirations!
My biggest sewing challenge is working with slippery/silky fabrics and getting things to stay in place.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is besides finding the time to do all of the projects on my list, it is sometimes challenging to decipher directions on patterns.

My biggest sewing challenge is knits! Despite the many tips given I still find it difficult to sew without stretching- especially on curves!!
I guess my challenges are on both ends of the project. First I have to make time to get the project going, and then there are the pesky details to finish things up.!
My biggest knitting or sewing challenge is trying to figure out how to use random yarn or fabric that people sometimes give me because I am a crafter.
My biggest challenge for sewing (and knitting or crocheting) is literally getting started. I always plan big things, purchase all of the supplies I need and then fail to follow through. sigh. It has been a lifelong struggle for me. :(
My biggest challenge is sewing with stretchy fabric. The machine I’ve been using just couldn’t handle it. I got a new sewing machine for Christmas and I can’t wait to try it on all the projects I had to give up on before.

My biggest struggle in sewing is Inserting a zipper into jeans. I will look at them for 2,3,4 years and then I might finally do it.
