My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use my Babylock Sophia 2 the most. So far it has been very reliable. It does a nice job for most of my work.
I use a White 8910 which is equivalent to a Viking #5. I like it because it is sturdy, the threads don’t jam, the tension stays correct, and it can use the specialized feet that fit the Viking #5. I also have a Huskylock serger.
The sewing machine in our home is a Brother.
The thing I like most about it is that my sweet husband bought it and he has sewn me beautiful doll clothes and now is sewing clothes for our family. He loves this new machine. I call him a Seamster!
“I use 2 Janome New Home machine & baby Lock Imagine serger. The thing I like most about Janome’s is they are heavy duty metal and go thru leather/demin/upholstery/etc as well as light sewing. Mine are 40+ yrs old. (One needs new drive belt, as I wore it out sewing thousands of miles of fabric) Poor thing ! Drop feed dogs on them are a MUST for me. 53 yrs of sewing and will probably stay with the work horse models. Thank you for all your contest and your ministry to sewing. A prosperous 2018 to you & your staff/designers !
I use a Babylock Ellure… The thing I like most about it is it is so easy to use.
