My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use a Singer 5930c … The thing I like most about it is it’s slow enough to help me make beautiful doll clothes and 30” bunnies.
I use a vintage green Elna… The thing I like most about it is the case becomes the table.
I use a Viking Emerald sewing machine and a BabyLock Imagine serger. They’re both workhorses and are very reliable machines! One of my favorite things about the Emerald is it’s ability to sew two lines of stitching (with a double needle), so making Liberty Jane jean jackets is a breeze! :)
I use a Singer Fashion Mate that I recently recieved as a gift from my mother. I love how easy it is to use and the decorative stitches that are available to use.
I use a Bernina 830 Record. The thing that I like most about my Bernina is that it is the first and only sewing machine. Purchased my 830 in high school and have sewn many projects and outfits for self and granddaughter. After many years of rest, I am rediscovering my love for this machine sewing doll clothes, doll house curtains and will be sharing my love for sewing by teaching my granddaughter. I can’t wait for our Abbie to decide what her first project will be.
