My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use a Brother, and I really like that it’s (usually) pretty easy to use. =)
I use a Viking Designer Diamond Deluxe. The thing I like most about it is in the various modes, it does everything I want to do and still has more abilities…sew and embroider.
I use a 1950’s Singer Featherweight for simple sewing, but my favorite is a 1970’s Singer Stylus. I like it because it was my Great Grandma’s and she bought it with stamps that she saved from her groceries. It sews a zig zag.
I use a janome and I enjoy that it is so easy to use but still has a few extra stitches that I can play with.
I have a Bernina 1960 Update which is a workhorse and does beautiful embroidery stitches. But, I mostly use my Husqvarna Designer 1 as it does everything I want and best of all. it will embroider free designs that I get from the internet when I use software to convert them to VIP format. My software allows me to make designs smaller so they are the right size for dolls.
