My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use a 1970’s Bernina 830 most of the time, but I have a few more babies (Singer, Consew, Elna) that I use from time to time. The thing I like most about it is that it is solid, reliable, and easy to use.
I use a Kenmore (janome) with decorative stich option. Its about 12 yrs old
My Mom has a Brother sewing machine she lets me use whenever. I like the big zig zag stitch. I recently really enjoyed making gifts for my baby cousins. My little sister is really really sick right now, and I am going to give her the doll with pajamas and the bedding for Emerson if I get it.She really loves WellieWishers.
I use a Janome 4030 QDC. The thing I like most about it is it sews through all types of fabric, has a quilting foot, and has an easy needle threader on it. I don’t have a serger but I would love to have one someday. I’ve used my sister’s baby lock on certain projects, but mostly use a French seam if it’s important to have a clean inside seam. I started sewing in 8th grade (learned in school and from my Mom) and I am still sewing 30 years later. I make quilts and also doll outfits for my daughters.
I use a Brother Project Runway machine. The thing I like most about it is the versatility and the stitches available for my quilting projects and special designs for the doll clothing.
