The darling little pajamas are from Shari, the designer behind the Thimbles and Acorns brand, as the prototype cover piece for the 14.5" Union Suit pattern - too cute! We've completed this set with a brand new 14.5" Welliewishers Emerson doll!

My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

I use a Viking Designer 1, actually have 2. Love that they are workhorses. Sewing is great, embroidery is great….does everything I need.
I use an industrial Bernina, I love it!! It is fast on the sewing, has a large side table and always works. It has a few decorative stitches and I really enjoy sewing on it. I have several other sewing machines but I usually come back to this Bernina when I am trying to really get things done.
I use an old Singer Featherweight and just love the nostalgic look of it. It sews great.
The sewing machine I use is a Singer I have had for several years. I like it because it makes a pretty stitch and has held up well to all the doll clothes I like to make.
I use a Kenmore because it is dependable. I also have two Singers.
