My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

I use an EuroPro sewing machine. I’ve had it forever. I like it because it has many stitch patterns and because it is low maintenance. It is great for 1/4" seams because the tension on the pressure foot adjust easily to the fabric I am using. I have a White serger, but I haven’t mastered it and find it much difficult to use.
I use a Kenmore Sewing machine from 1988. I like it because it’s held up to a massive amount of sewing!
I use 2 Bernina machines and a Singer serger. I love that each machine has so many different uses. I have just started to do embroidery and my old Bernina is a workhorse when I am sewing doll clothes. I also have my Grandmothers 100 year old Singer and my Mothers Singer feather weight which I learned to sew on.

I use a 1970s Viking that belonged to my husband’s grandmother. I love its reliability and the family history of using the same machine for my projects that she used to make so many things for my husband and his family when he was little. I would like to upgrade to something a little newer, but I can’t afford the machine I would want. I have been sewing by hand most of my life and consider myself experienced at sewing and designing my own projects, but in many ways I am still learning. I am a beginner when it comes to things like buttonholes and zippers.
