My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

My grandmother taught me how to use a sewing machine when I was 9…I learned on an 1800’s model Singer Treadle Machine…that belonged to my Grandfathers Mom…I do sadly I do not have it (wish I did) but I do have a 1915 Sphinx Model Singer treadle sewing machine that works wonderfully well and is really great for doing heavy material or leather…I also own a Singer 1969,, and a White 1997, a Singer Tiny Tailor, and a Singer 5 spool Serger. and another small portable that I can take with me to use in emergency situations. All are very useful and are ready to use at a moments notice for the many varied things I do.. I would like to add a commercial sewing machine to my list of machines…for some of the larger jobs I do…would love to have a Wellie Wishers Doll to add to my collection…It would be great to have one for a model when I make doll clothes for that size doll, my granddaughters would also love to have it to play with when they come to Grandma’s house…
I have a singer sewing machine, and a Viking S, they both offer me different things. My Singer is basic with different stitches and my Viking was one of the 1st computerized machines, so lots of options for stitches. Both are beautiful machines.
I sew on a brother CS6000i. I love that it is light weight for toting to classes and easy for my grand children to learn sewing on. it is durable enough for quilting or doll clothes making
I use an old Janome my mom gave me. I love that it still is a great machine that works well!

I also have an older heavy duty Singer sewing machine AND a serger. So I’m ready to tackle any sewing project.
