My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:

"I use a  [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"

Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.

One entry per person.

No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.

The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.

We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.

Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.

Happy Holidays!

I use a Singer sewing machine. What I like about my machine is it’s the one my Mom used to use.

I use a Bernina 830 Record and a Bernina 200E. Both are such reliable machines. My 830 is 40 years and still sews anything I choose from thick sequin trims, delicate fabrics, knits, to heavy denim. It is my go to machine for most of my projects. My 200 has so many decorative stitches and the ability to embroidery. I also own a Janome serger. Wouldn’t be without one, they produce a finished look to me sewing projects.

I use a Singer . I started with a treadle, then a portable, finally acquired my own tabletop model which was heavily used for almost 40 years and finally wore out, then my heavy duty singer which sews anything- awesome machines- very little maintenance.

I use a Singer Curvy sewing machine. The thing I like best about it is that I don’t have set the tension each time I sew it does it for me. There a some thing that I sew that I have to manually.

I use a Brother sewing machine as well as a Brother serger. The thing I like about them is that they were inexpensive and have been pretty dependable.
