My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:

"I use a  [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"

Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.

One entry per person.

No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.

The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.

We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.

Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.

Happy Holidays!

I use a White brand sewing machine. The thing I like most about it is that my mother bought it for me when I was pregnant with my daughter 27 years ago. Before that I used Mom’s old machine, a Nelco, that her mother bought for her when she was pregnant with me. I take care of a good machine and I have used it a lot for baby clothes, altering clothes, doll clothes, quilts, curtains, etc. I really love my machine.

I use a couple sewing machines and also have a couple of sergers. I like my Janome for the variety of stitches and automatic needle threader. A year ago I got an old White sewing machine that had been used and abused. I cleaned it up and reset the tension. I love it for the punching power of the motor and needle. First machine I’ve had that can sew velcro with ease. I’ve had a serger since I worked at a fabric store 35 years ago and have been through several of them. I use it to finish seams on everything and for sewing knits. I am really enjoying this contest, reading lots of comments.

I use a Kenmore that was given to me by my father in law. The thing i like most about it is that it’s so easy to clean and maintain.

I use a Singer Prelude … The thing I like most about it is it’s so easy to use!

I use a Singer sewing machine that was my mother in laws’ and is older than my husband! I really like how it is simpler to use than the more modern machines today.
