Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

I use a Brother sewing machine that I just got in the fall. The thing I like most about it is that it is portable! We just downsized to a very small apt and no room for a specific place to do my sewing.
I use a 1980s Singer sewing machine. The thing I liked most about it was that it was a really nice machine until my daughter took it apart.
I am a bernina girl. I have used several types/styles of machines. I will never buy anything else…it is my favorite in all areas of sewing and embroidery.
For perfect straight, nothing beats my 1950 Singer Featherweight. For everything else, I use a Janome.
I love my Janome quilter machine. I have been sewing on Janome machines for over 30 years when the used to be called New Home sewing machines.
