My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use a Juki straight stitch at work, I had one at home but it burnt up in a house fire :-(. I love it because it is simple, straight forward and heavy duty for thicker fabrics and you can use it to sew most fabrics (maybe not so good on knits and stretch fabrics) I bought a Brother so I would have something to use at home and it is okay (has lots of different stitches) but I miss how strong and heavy duty the commercial machine is.
I use a Kenmore sewing machine and a Bernina serger. I love how much faster and cleaner I can sew by using both! I try to serge as much as possible and I love working with spandex on the serger and making matching leggings for dolls and my daughters.
I have a baby lock sewing machine and a singer serger. I love all the stitches on my sewing machine.
I use a Janome 8900, I love the throat space, and the thread cutter, plus all off the wonderful features. Thanks for giveaway.
I use a Singer Stylist. It’s easy to use and does the job.
