Knitting is my passion. I knit gifts fir friends snd family. On average I knit 15 – 20 hours a week. I gave purchased a number of patterns from Etsy.
I sew doll clothes for a non-profit organization called Stitchin’ for Kids. They provide dolls and doll clothes, stuffed animals and other toys for children in long term stays in the hospital. For example, children with heart problems, cancers, pulmonary problems, etc.
I also sew items for my non-profit quilt guild for fund raising for the Guild.
I sew to keep my husband in period clothing.
I LOVE to sew and have since I was seven years old. I enjoy making quilts, dew rags for my husband and doll clothes which I give away. And this year I’ve added Masks. I have made hundreds of them and have given them away mostly to nurses and other medical professionals. I work 30-40 hours a week, it keeps me sane.
I sew primarily as a hobby about 15 hours a week.
