I was BORN sewing and knitting! Both have allowed me to survive difficult times, financially. I don’t do as much anymore, now that I am aging. But there is always a pile of sewing/mending/upcycling nearby. And my knitting is always at hand by my “nest”.
I pretend to dress dolls for my great-granddaughter, but really for myself! :)

“I sew primarily doing hems and mends. I buy more fabric for quilting than I will ever get around to sewing, its all just so beautiful!

Susan

I sew and crochet as a hobby, but also sell some of the items and doll clothes I make. I sell by word of mouth and at craft shows. I sew more during our long, cold winter evenings and average about 5 hours each week. Am hoping 2021 is a much better year for all!

Julie

I sew because its a joy to handle fabric and create. I spend 4 hours a week on average. I travel to see my many children and grandchildren and have made sure there is a sewing machine in each home for me to use!

BRONWYN

I sew lap top quilts for senior assisted living facilities and use Pixie Faire patterns to sew doll clothes to go with dolls that are donated to foster care. . I sew about 10 hours a week.
