I mainly sew for family but have also sewn doll clothes for holiday shops at elementary schools where the kids shop for their families. They were cancelled this year due to the pandemic.

I sew primarily as a hobby. It has been critical in helping me de-stress over this past year. Due to my crazy work schedule I only get to spend about 3-4 hours sewing each week. I wish I could squeeze a few more hours in as it helps me so much. Hopefully, I will get a chance once the pandemic is under control and I go back to my normal hours. I have purchased around 20 patterns from Pixie Faire and have only had the opportunity to sew a handful of them. They have all turned out wonderful and I am having fun deciding which fabric/trims to use for my next project.

I sew for my family, friends and charity. I spend many hours a week sewing both by machine and by hand.

I sew and crochet for the fun of it. I mainly sew for AG dolls and give them to girls in my life, but they keep growing up. I also have my own collection of 18-inch dolls as well as a few vintage dolls. Occasionally I make a simple quilt. I also love to crochet and make doll clothes as well as afghans. When I was a girl, crochet patterns for dolls were scarce. it’s wonderful to have a variety of patterns on Pixie Faire.

I sew for fun and little craft shows. When I was a little girl my grandma gave me bits of fabric to sew by hand. she would help me make doll cloths for my dolly’s.
When I married and had daughters I made cloths for the girls and their dolls. they grew up and gave me all Grandsons. My love for making doll cloths was always with me. I have always made for neighbor girls, nieces and friends little girls. than I was talked into a fundraiser craft show. So now I sew cloths for dolls from my patterns I have from pixiefaire. I also make quilts with the beautiful fabrics and the left overs make beautiful clothes for the dolls. My motto no scrap of material unused. I donate my little bits to a school that works with 3, 4, 5 year old children and they cut and paste on paper for hand made crafts for their parents. I love to sew every chance I get. Some days I can spend a whole day in the sewing room.
