I sew primarily as a hobby but also sell what I make on Etsy – on average, I spend 1 hour per week sewing. This year has been filled with so many family issues and health issues that I’ve cut way back on my sewing. My normal time spent sewing used to be at least a couple hours or more a day, which I am hoping to get back to in the coming year. My adult daughter who spent 4 weeks unresponsive in the ICU and a total of nearly 4 more weeks in a regular room is almost completely recovered. I will still spend time with her but we have talked of sewing together which I am really looking forward to. I have an Etsy shop – Marcot’s Girls Doll Boutique.

I have been sewing since I was a young girl, taught to me by my mother. I used to sew clothes for myself and kids but know I mainly quilt blankets for my grand children. I have recently found Pixie Faire and have thoroughly enjoyed sewing doll clothes as well as knitting a few outfits. I find it all to be very relaxing and enjoyable and very thankful to have these hobbies in this crazy year.

I sew primarily as a hobby would love to start my own business sewing at some point. On average, I spend as much time as I can between my actual job and family to sew. 😁

Sewing used to be my primary craft when my children were growing up. I mainly made our clothes and some doll clothes for presents. But now I am mostly knitting because of spinal issues. I am mostly knitting for gifts and my granddaughter’s dolls. I probably knit a few hours a week.

I love anything to do with sewing, knitting, crafting, however I spend a lot more time thinking about it and collecting materials than actually doing it. New Year’s resolution idea here?
