I sew to keep my hands busy. When my hands are busy my mind is in a much better place. I primarily sew doll clothes with my 2 grandaughters and we sell them at craft faires. Not a money making proposition but lots of good times!
I sew as a hobby but as a hobby that sort of pays for itself as I sew one dress for my dolls and a matching dress to sell on eBay. I used to be able to spend more time at it though, I started getting pains in my legs from sitting too much so now I’m down to a couple hours a week give or take.
“I sew primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend…well, that depends. When I’m making doll clothes for my niece’s dolls, I spend between 3 to 10 hours a week working on things, just a little here-and-there. When I’m sewing costumes ((I do some costuming for a theater company my son is a part of)) however, I can spend up to 10 hours a day on sewing.
I sew and knit primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend 4 – 5 hours a week.
I love sewing doll clothes. I sew almost everyday or numerous times a week. I have a business on etsy called StorytimeFashions and I have been using PixieFaire patterns from the very beginning. Actually a PixieFaire pattern started it all. Thank you for a wonderful giveaway and just all you do for us crafters.
