I sew as a hobby and to give unique gifts to friends and family. On average I spend 3 hours a day in my sewing room. I have been known to spend 10 to 12 straight hours making a project. I sew up Pixie Faire designs for the multitude of dolls my granddaughters have and occassionally give them as gifts to other girls in my family.

I do many crafts, crocheting and jewelry making are my primary hobbies. I enjoy many others. I do crafts as my mind is constantly designing.

I sew as a small home business. I love to sew and I have an addiction to fabric! I spend many, many hours a week at my sewing machine. When my girls were small, I made doll clothes for them, but now I only have grandsons! So, I began collecting dolls. I love the American Girl dolls and the Wellie Wisher dolls – as well as Barbies! I started sewing clothes for my dolls. Friends and neighbors began wanting to buy them, so I began making more and more. I sell locally and have sewn for consignment shops as well. As I am a white headed senior, it keeps my hands and mind active and I’m told that’s a very good thing for us older people!

I sew and crochet primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend a few hours in a week.

Cherie

I sew, knit, crochet and craft as a hobby. I gift or donate most items, and sew a ton of doll clothes for my 4 granddaughters ages 7 and under and the little girls in my neighborhood. Time spent creating these items varies greatly from one day to the next; someone always has a birthday coming or needs cheering up.
