I would like to say I sew every day but it really varies week by week. There are some times, lately, I get creative blocks and literally can’t but the desire is always there. There are days where logistically I can’t. I have no idea the time I spend sewing but others would say a lot, lol!

I sew and crochet primarily as a hobby and an average maybe up to 16 hours a week when I am not at work. I sew a lot on the weekends and I crochet at night in front of the TV. I sew mostly because I love the challenge of designs that are more pleasing, professional looking and like what we would wear for clothing. I sew for myself and my co-workers daughters which to see there excitement in there faces when they dress their dolls up is so much worth it. I do purchase supplies from Etsy shops. I like to help out the small business people as well.

Sewing is my mental relaxation time. I have more projects going at one time than I care to admit, but there is always something to do. I can spend as much or as little time each day as I choose to in my sewing room. Usually I manage at least an hour or two each day, but sometimes I can spend as much as six to eight hours at the cutting table and/or sewing machines. My work is usually given as gifts, but I do keep one or two things for the house. Occasionally, when something goes terribly wrong, I make some of the nicest dust rags in town!

I sew primarily has a hobby business on Etsy. The name is Lollipaisley and I started sewing when my granddaughter was around 6 and sewed doll clothes for her. After she grew older and didn’t play with her dolls anymore My daughter talked me into opening an Etsy shop. Sewing is therapy for me and I sew about 5 hours a day.
