I sew for fun, for a sense of accomplishment. I used to sew to save money, but now a days, ready made clothes are cheaper. When my kids were small, I made most of their clothes and mine, too. Through the years, time and money constraints got in the way. I’ve come back to sewing in my retirement making baby quilts, doll clothes and now, masks, so many masks!

I sew and knit primarily for my home business. On average, I spend about 6 hours per day sewing and knitting. I have two Etsy shops. My doll clothes shop is called MySweet18DollClothes and my knitting patterns for doll clothes is called Knitting Little Design.

My passion is making my girls happy. I sew clothes for their dolls to match whatever creative game they have come up with. I learned how to sew when I was young so I am trying to teach them to sew and design. I spent 2 days/ month on this hobby.

My favorite hobbies are sewing and knitting. I love making tiny outfits, and fun things for kids.
I spend about 2-4 hrs a day pursuing my hobbies. I don’t sell, a d I don’t have an Etsy store. Maybe some day.

“I sew primarily as a hobby (hobby means I do not profit monetarily from my craft) on average, I spend less than an hour a week, but in 2021, I plan to change that. At the start of the stay at home orders I made masks, I probably gave away 1,000+, but I did sell some through Etsy. Again while it would "seam” this means I profited, truly it paid only for the materials. The real profit was the feeling of doing whatever I could to help out.
