I mainly sew as a hobby for my wide doll collection. I love taking an original doll pattern and modify it a lot or combine several together, this for dolls of various sizes. As I’m still a full time worker, I often wish I could put in more time. it ends up being therapeutic. This year particularly, I have mainly sewn masks, but I intend to pick up my dolly sewing activities to offer more original sewn, knit and crocheted products in my Etsy shop called Pingouine.
I sew doll clothes, small quilts, purses, potholders, and pillow cases etc. for my large family just for fun. I sew a little bit almost every day.
I sew as a fun hobby and as a useful household tool. I dont sew as often as I would like, but i am hoping to do more in the new year!
I sew primarily because I love to make dolls clothes, mainly as a hobby for my grandchildren but also as a way to make a little extra cash. I probably sew around 15 to 20 hours a week and sell my doll clothes in my Etsy store FroggieeCrafts.
