Is finding that exact perfect bit of trim or piece of scrap fabric that will match everything else in the garment perfectly & I can’t find it, but I know I have it somewhere in my vast stash & I just can’t bear to substitute something else. It totally stops progress & just makes me frustrated cause I probably saw it last week. Grrrr

My biggest sewing, knitting, or crocheting challenge is learning to crochet and knit. I would love to utilize some of your patterns that require both crocheting and knitting, but it has been so long since I have done either that I need to take a class for both. My challenge with sewing is refraining from buying fabric I love and then not having the time to sew. I have about 10 bins of fabric and need to start reducing the amount, not adding to it. I hope to change that this year.

My biggest sewing / crochet challenge is the disorganization in my Craft Studio. It takes so much time and energy getting “set” that I never get to actually “GO”. My goal for 2018 is to find balance so that I am not overwhelmed before I even start.

My biggest challenge when sewing doll clothes is finding small enough prints and size appropriate fabrics which drape in the doll’s scale. Thick fabrics look awful, most yarns are too thick for a doll sweater, even small-looking prints can overwhelm the doll, so you tend to buy fabrics when and wherever you can. I love this Logan doll.

My biggest crochet challenge is sewing strips together, when the stitches vary – just have not been able to figure it out, so that it is easy and as fast as making the strips :) I am practicing on one set of strips, and have two sets waiting. I am sure I knew how, but have forgotten. I do not mind doing it, just want a good way. I sew in the ends for my daughter’s crocheting as she hates doing it – I do not mind – quick and easy to do while watching TV. Now, if only she knew how to sew the strips together :) chuckle Love today’s giveaway – what a great package! They are all wonderful :)

My biggest knitting and crochet challenge is finding the right thread or yarn. I have a lot of thread and yarn from long ago, and I have to go to the internet to see if size 10, 5, and 3 cotton crochet thread translate into Knit cro sheen, speed cro sheen, bedspread, etc. My older yarn doesn’t have numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5) but just says baby, sock, fingering. Also needle and hook sizes in the U.K. and Canada don’t always correspond to the system used in the United States. I was grateful that Pixie Faire offered some patterns for Knit and. Crochet, because when I was confined to a chair for several months before Christmas with a broken foot I was still able to create things for my grandchildren using your Knit and crochet patterns.
