My favorite fashion era is the 1960s. I would love to see more patterns which are from the 1900s but are for sportswear – like a bicycling outfit!

“My favorite fashion era is…1940’s. I would like to see a historical pattern offered for a girl’s dress”
My favorite fashion era is Victorian. I enjoy dressing my dolls in fancy, ruffled, lacy clothing that would be so uncomfortable for me to wear but the girls don’t mind a bit. They love getting new dresses. :D

My favorite fashion era is the 1950’s as there is wide range of styles of clothing during that decade with societal changes. However, I would like to see a historical pattern offered for an “ordinary” child’s wardrobe of 1910-1920

My favorite fashion era is the early to mid 1940’s. I’d like to see a pattern for a WWII Army Nurse uniform for my 18 inch American Girl doll.
Hard to choose a favorite — I like anything pre-1910 or so. I’d love more fancy dress patterns from the civil war era and/or Victorian era. And more patterns for hats would be lots of fun.
My favorite fashion era is anything from 1800-1950. I would like to see some everyday 1930s and 1940s outfits

My favorite era is the early 20th century. I love the fabrics and styling.
I don’t have a favourite era, there is always something nice to say about every era. I like it when I see fashion come-backs and mention to my grandkids that I used to have an outfit just like the one they bought new! :-) I enjoy receiving the patterns and encourage my grandchildren to sew as well.
I too like all the different eras, but I think I would pick pioneer era. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of a pattern i would like to see. Pixie Faire has so many that I love and since I just started buying some, there are many in my wish list already!

I love several eras. Fashions from across time are interesting in their own right. My favorites are the Edwardian period and the Pioneer era. It is hard for me to pick ONE favorite era. Although I’m not sure I’d have liked to wear all the layers of petticoats, pantaloons, and corsets. The overall look of those outfits are so elegant. I like the Jane Austen era of fashion also. I do think my least favorite fashion era is the 60’s. I think the patterns I see the least are from the 30’s, it might be nice to see some from that era.

My favorite fashion era is the 30’s and 40’s, because those were the two decades during which my Mother was born and grew up. I like to imagine what she might have worn, esp. since her mother (my grandmother) made all her clothes.
My favorite fashion era would have to be answered in multiple answers. The Victorian and colonial fashions were so elegant when it came to those they would wear entertaining. Then you had the big change in the fashions in the 20s. Though the fashions for very young girls were different from the flapper fashions. In the 50s we wore full skirts. Poodle skirts worn with sweaters of all kinds and of course our saddle shoes. Younger girls wore dresses with full skirts, attached belts that tied in the back. Most dresses sported lace or bricabrac on the front of collars. Girls dressed in feminine fashions and were taught to look and act like ladies.

I’m especially drawn to historical patterns because the various fashions fascinate me. I enjoy being creative with patterns and fabrics! Bonnets and hats and accessories to complement the variety of styles are also a favorite; to have them all in one pattern is a draw. My granddaughters also enjoy this. Many of the current day patterns other than baseball/type hats are not necessarily available in stores. And, we are also sports fans so no prejudice shown because of that. All types of sewing….my favorite hobby but sewing for dolls is tops!! No mumbling and grumbling about fit or itch. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

My favorite fashion era for doll clothes is the late 1800’s when the women wore very ornate dresses with bustles at the back. I think these dresses are so feminine with all the ruffles and lace, and matching hats and parasols.

Plainly, I love fashion…in every form and every era…and I love creating for the American Girl dollies! The beautiful patterns designed by talented seamstresses…like those offering gorgeous clothing for “The 12 Days of Christmas”…make sewing in any era possible. I truly have no suggestion for a historical outfit/pattern; many wonderful patterns, for which I am grateful, already exist! THANK YOU, Cinnamon and Liberty Jane/Pixie Faire and all contributors for blessing us with your generosity and giftedness! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My favourite fashion era was the 40s. I would like to see patterns designed specifically around Rebecca Rubin’s (AG) wardrobe. I have actual AG patterns for my older daughter’s dolls, but they didn’t produce patterns for Rebecca, so my youngest feels like she got the short end of the stick. :)
