or fill in the blank "My biggest sewing challenge is______"
Finding time to sew
My biggest sewing challenge is machine sewing closures on doll clothes.
My biggest sewing challenge is machine sewing closures on doll clothes.
My biggest challenge is juggling the different crafts I love to do and finding the time to implement all the ideas I have.
My biggest challenge is time and keeping my sewing room organized enough to use.
I really like seing the sewing for doll. I have to find time to do so. May be today🎄🎉🤙
I would like to see more coats and jackets.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to do all the projects I want to do ! and PixieFaire is the “best” enabler too !!
My biggest challenge is sewing performance fabrics.
Without a doubt my biggest challenge is finding the time to do the sewing I would like to do.
Getting enough time.
My biggest challenge is finding sources for the right materials, especially for accessories like hiking boots.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding what to make next.
My biggest sewing challenge is simply allowing myself to sit down & sew instead of doing some other thing I think is a priority.
My new challenge is learning to make shoes, especially Gor my 14 inch dolls. Shoes for 18 inch dolls are easy to find but not 14 inch ones. So necessity is the mother of invention…..it’s necessary for me to learn to make my own!!
My biggest challenge is finishing off I can’t seem to get my collars or zippers to look as nice as they should
My biggest sewing challenge is setting aside the time to sew!
One of my biggest challenge is once I make a mistake on a project, finding the initiative to fix the problem then complete it. I get so discouraged when I make a mistake and have to figure out how to fix it. That project always gets put aside for the “rainy day” when I might want to figure it out and fix the issue.
My biggest sewing challenge is time.
My biggest sewing challenge is visualizing which piece of fabric I have will work with which pattern.
I would like to see more accessories and furnishings.
Biggest Challenge is Time. I struggle to find the time to do everything on my lists. My hope is after the holidays are over to make a new dedicated sewing spot where I can leave a project in progress and come back to it as I am able. Having to put everything away really makes things harder for me to get back to.
Right now, my biggest challenge is finding any time to sew.
My biggest challenge is motivation. My girls no longer play or even dress their dolls.
Taking time to sew what I want to sew. Most of my sewing is for my work.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing in sleeves.
My biggest sewing challenge is “patience.” I like to sew things quickly due to past factory sewing. Then I find that I have to rip seams out because I sewed too fast.
My biggest challenge when making American Girl doll clothes is to have the neck pieces to line up correctly…matching.
My biggest sewing challenge is storing my fabrics!
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing very tiny things, especially for smaller dolls like Barbie.
My biggest challenge is not to hurry through a project just to get it finished.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting button holes all the same size on a garment
My biggest challenge is making tiny buttonholes.
I would like to see a class on using 2 zippers instead of one on the carryall’s.
My biggest sewing challenge is not rushing through personal sewing projects.
My biggest sewing challenge is not rushing through personal sewing projects.
My biggest challenge is deciding which projects to make. I want to do so many, I start more than I can finish.
My biggest sewing challenge is Storing my supplies and sewing with specialty fabrics.
Buttonholes. I avoid them because I never get them right.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding a safe place to sew due to water damage from an apartment fire
Finding time to finish all my projects before I begin something new & challenging because of my continual migrains.
My biggest issue is arm holes.
My biggest sewing challenge is choosing fabric that coordinates with other fabrics for my project.
My biggest sewing challenge is being overwhelmed by all the fabric and patterns I have and not being able to choose one to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is choosing the next project to work on.
My biggest problem is trying not to criticize those who do not press as they sew. So many garments would look so much better if the sewist would just press the seams as they go. I don’t comment unless I can find a kind way to mention that a good press as you go would do a world of good for presentation and make the pieces fit together better. That said, I am not the world’s best seamstress. My biggest challenge is not finishing a project if it does not look just right. It goes into the trash if the error is not a quick fix!
I love any historical type costumes and love the instructional courses for these.
My biggest challenge is to use up the collection of fabrics and trims I have stockpiled. I just love creating.
My biggest challenge is finding fabric in tiny prints that will work for doll clothes. I see that you have fabric, so will be shopping.
My biggest challenge is deciding what I want to start sewing first. There are always so many outfits I want to make, but it’s difficult to pick one to begin with.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to actually sew for myself because I am a private sewing instructor.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding prints & notions small enough for dolls
I struggle with sewing zippers
My biggest challenge are metal eyelets! For some reason, the metal eyelet doesn’t always curl correctly. I’ve given up on my Dritz pliers and I have a new Crocadil set to try. Here’s to having better luck this year!
My biggest challenge is understanding the pattern directions. I’m a novice and my daughter really wants to make difficult things, so it becomes challenging! I always triple the time suggested to make the outfits!
My biggest challenge is finding the doll haeadbands to make the visor patttern.
I would like to see heirloom
doll clothes tutorials
My biggest challenge is finding the right yarn for the knitting patterns.
My biggest challenge is remembering all the hacks good tips presented here.
My biggest sewing challenge right now is sewing chiffon without my machine eating it!
My biggest sewing challenge right now is sewing chiffon without my machine eating it!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the wherewithal to take out mistakes and start over. I hate doing steps over a second time. 😅
My biggest challenge is working with delicate fabric and not getting it stuck in my machine.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping my fabric stash at a reasonable size. There are too many times I will get fabric I like without a specific project in mind, and it ends up sitting around while planned projects keep happening.
My biggest challenge is trying to make those tiny buttonholes!
I just love the sewing a themed wardrobe. Please keep doing them
My biggest sewing challenge (besides finding the time) is probably knits. I’m at the point I won’t buy knit fabric. I don’t own – or even know how to use – a server, and even with the proper foot on my trusty Brothers machine, the projects never came out right.
Finding the right size zippers in the right color
My biggest sewing challenge is me. I get into my own head and doubt myself.
My biggest challenge is time! But I must make the time to dress my naked girls! I love sewing for dolls!
I would like to see a tutorial on sewing historical clothing for dolls.
My biggest challenge is sewing buttonholes…especially tiny ones! Would also love to see videos on managing sewing very tight spaces like sleeves and cuffs.
I’d like courses on sewing doll
Clothes
My biggest sewing challenge is working with faux leather on the moto jacket.
All though this is an amazing competition, and whist one understands why only open to certain countries, I still love your designs.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the right fabric for the patterns.
My biggest challenge is sewing with stretchy knits and velvet
My biggest challenge is doll footwear…i end up just buying but i really need to make both a doll foot last (im thinking plaster of paris mold)and a cobbler stand.
I sew for stuffed animals of all sizes. I am constantly challenged on resizing American Girl patterns to fit Animals. Taking the right measurements and drafting the patterns. I can do it eventually but, it takes me a long time. Other patterns just don’t measure up to Pixie Faire Patterns with all of the details.
My biggest challenge is sewing the tiny sleeves
I would have to say my greatest challenge is finding the time for all the new projects and ideas that I find. Creativity is a blessing and a curse. I love what I am doing in the moment, but there is always something new and exciting I want to try .
My biggest challenge is tiny button holes!! Any suggestions would be appreciated!
My biggest challenge is finding time to use all the wonderful materials I have collected and turn them into the ideas I have for all the cute patterns.
My biggest sewing challenge is Fasteners. I tend to use hook and loop tape on everything.
My biggest challenge is knits.
My biggest sewing challenge is selecting the best fabric for my project. My choices never give the wow factor I am looking for.
I would like more Barbie sized patterns
I’m excited to learn about anything that has detail. I think watching someone else do it, will make it seem that much easier.
Sew Along’s like Avila Aviator jacket. It’s the small details like finishing knitted sleeve band to look professional. How to put a lining and zipper in with knit ribbing waistband.
My biggest challenge is making time to allow myself to sew and organization.
I struggle with sewing the collars and zippers
My biggest sewing challenge, is making so many doll clothes. Finding the right outfits to give to each young person for their unique style.
My biggest sewing challenge is not buying more fabric when it’s on sale or clearance lol. I can’t resist a great deal.
My biggest challenge is sewing all the fabric I collect. I figure if I live 200 years, I just might have enough time to get through it all.
I really struggle when sewing with stretchy knits: the correct needle, thread tension, and the correct setting for the pressure foot. SO frustrating
My biggest sewing challenge changes with every project lol.
If I’m working with knits, it’s keeping things from getting wonky and parts from getting stretched out while sewing.
I made some hooded towels this Christmas season and my first challenge was to sew the fabric of the towel, not just the loft, and wiring with sometimes 5 layers of toweling made it difficult to fit under my pressure foot. Then my pressure foot stopped working afterward, so that created a huge challenge when trying to sew the Christmas pillowcases to wrap the hooded towels in.
When I made grommet velvet curtains, I forgot to keep the nap the same direction… so one panel looks like a completely different color than the other…. that’s a problem to fix after my machine gets fixed…
I’d like to see furniture and prop or accessory tutorials.
My biggest challenge is getting started on a project and I have trouble with knits.
Would have to be knits.

My biggest challenge is focusing on one project at a time. I tend to have several projects at the same time.
