I love everything you do.i make a lot of outfits for family and friends and for fund raisers. I use old skirts and tops from schools that have uniforms. I make headbands and backpacks that I embroider initials or school name. As my granddaughters get older and not interested in their dolls,( older girls are 13 ). I will be sad. I also do a lot of Barbie clothes. I usually shop joanns or Hobby Lobby and a few quiilt shops.But my favorite is to visit Holmes county in Ohio. This is Amish country and have several outlet fabric stores. I can stay all day. LAst year I Was able to purchase four and five inch zippers for one dollar. I shopped til I dropped. SEwing is my sanity.
I love to sew and will get to my many sewing projects when I’m not watching my granddaughters.
I sew primarily as a hobby but plan on making it a business, on average, I spend 4 hours a day for 6 days a week sewing.
I sew period clothes for 18inch dolls and use them to teach History.
I sew, knit and crochet for the satisfaction of making something functional and fun. I spend 2 to 4 hours in a quiet evening working on one or several projects. Easy enough now that’s -40F outdoors and sunset is before 5pm.
