My favourite era is the present. I love to keep up with the changes in fashion.

My granddaughters are into “the olden days”, so I’m trying my hand at a couple of the Freebie Friday outfits that I’ve changed up a bit to get that era look…fairly new to sewing so there is lots of trial and error. I’d love to see a Little House on the Prairie line!

My most favorite era of fashion is the 60’s. I made a lot of my own clothes from the age of 13. Some of my favorite pieces that I made was the pop top which had layers of ruffles at the front and fell just above the belly button. Another was the hip hugger bell bottoms that fell just below the belly button. I have made both of these awesome outfits for my granddaughter who is 8 years old. They say that what was old is new again. I would love all of your customers to have the opportunity to make both of these fashion items of the 60’s.

My favourite eras of fashion and clothing are Edwardian and Victorian. But, being a teen in the 60’s, I’m basically a hippie with flowing skirts, etc. That doesn’t really narrow it down, does it! Sorry.
