My favorite era of clothing is Civil War. I would just love to see more patterns for this time period, both male and female.
I really like the 1950’s maybe a boy outfit from that time, or what girls wore everyday to school or church, (when people dressed for Sunday services and not in jeans and tees!)
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 1990s. I’d love to see a pattern for looser, wide-leg, jeans (mom jeans, if you will). I stole a pair from my actual mother, Levi’s she wore in college, and have been wanting a pair for my dolls!
I love all doll clothes. I had the pleasure of making wardrobes for four American girl dolls for each of my little angels. They absolutely loved all the different clothes. These were all crocheted. This year I’d like to try sewing each of them a Christmas outfit and maybe one other holiday outfit. Can’t wait to get started on Christmas 2018 for these little angels. ?
My favorite era of clothing is the 1950’s, which was my childhood era but a close second would be the 1930-40’s. I like their innocent simplicity back during a time when little girls didn’t wear black lace and netting and adult style fashions. I would like to see a pattern for the rompers we wore as little girls that had elastic leg openings and across the yoke, then thin ties on each shoulder. Also, a simple pinafore that was just a single shaped piece with seam binding enclosing the edges and making ties. They often had appliques cut out from fabric and machine satin stitched on them and worn over a simple dress.
