Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

How about those “can can petticoats” we used to wear in the 50s and 60s. My sister and I each had about 3 and we would starch them really stiff and lay them out in a circular pattern on newspaper on the living room floor to dry. The living room was the main room in the house and it wasn’t very large and when my dad wanted to sit down, after a hard days work on the farm, he could barely find room on the floor for his feet.
I like all the fashion eras but would lean toward the 50s and 60s since that is when I was growing up. I remember empire waists and wrap – around skirts and dresses that I made for myself. Thanks for your generosity!

My favorite era would be the Victorian era. The fancier the better!
My tastes have changed a lot since I was seven and received my Samantha doll (whom I still love!). I would like to see 1920s patterns—not just a flapper dress but every day wear.
