My favorite era of clothing is a toss up between the 70’s and 80’s but as far as sewing, it would be the 70’s. The first item I sewed for my self was a pair of bell bottom pants and I can still see them vividly. Wish I had pictures.
My favorite era is the 1950’s as it incorporated the best looks of the 40’s with the tailoring of the time as well as the flirty aspects that laid the way for the 60’s diverse dressing options.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is current fashions – but not the slouchy pants or the exposed bra straps! I like school girl outfits and parkas and boots.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 50’s. I’d love to see a pattern for party dresses for little girls like the ones my mom made for me to go to birthday parties. Everyone dressed up in those days!!

God Bless.
I love the 60’s era of fashions! It’s so fun o see th outfits I used to wear as a child and to share the doll clothes with m granddaughter.
Mine are strictly modern. There are a few historicals, but I rarely sew for them (although I might be known to collect a few patterns for each from time to time). They seem to be especially fond of whatever the latest PixieFaire modern pattern is, jeans, t-shirts, a few bomber jackets, and an occasional skirt here and there. I always thought I would like to sew 40s outfits best, but they were having none of it.
