“My favorite era of clothing and fashion is Colonial America and also the 1940’s – to early 60’s when ladies wore hats and really dressed up in complete outfits. I’d love to see more hats and coats from vintage eras.“

My favorite era of clothing is a toss up between the 70’s and 80’s but as far as sewing, it would be the 70’s. The first item I sewed for my self was a pair of bell bottom pants and I can still see them vividly. Wish I had pictures.

My favorite era is the 1950’s as it incorporated the best looks of the 40’s with the tailoring of the time as well as the flirty aspects that laid the way for the 60’s diverse dressing options.

Mine are strictly modern. There are a few historicals, but I rarely sew for them (although I might be known to collect a few patterns for each from time to time). They seem to be especially fond of whatever the latest PixieFaire modern pattern is, jeans, t-shirts, a few bomber jackets, and an occasional skirt here and there. I always thought I would like to sew 40s outfits best, but they were having none of it.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the “current styles”. I have made clothes for the dolls and matching ones for the girls so they need to be something the girls would wear. That said, I like some styles from all of the eras. I haven’t checked all of the available patterns recently so I don’t know what pattern I would still like to see.
