Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

My machine is a Brother. My favorite thing is that it works consistently without any problems. My previous machine was from the 70s and I spent more time working on it than actually sewing!
I use a singer
I have a Brother Innov-is 28000 that I mainly use for my embroidery. Then for my sewing I use my Janome. It has a wide range of decorative stitches and feet so I can do just about ant type of sewing I want to including quilting my quilts.
I use a Brother.. The thing I like most about it is it allowed me to inexpensively own a machine to begin learning how to sew new things and repair what I already owned.
I use a Singer machine and I love all the stitch options. From functional to decorative the options help me create beautiful doll clothes for our daughter. This year she will be learning to sew on this same machine.
