My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

I use a Bernina sewing machine. the thing I like most about it is the knee lift presser foot.
my husband just purchased a Verve from babyloc, because I was making so many dollclothes. Its also an embroidery, and quilting machine, , I absolutely love it,, and hope to use it forever, Sewing is just my thing
My sewing machine is no name brand and 30 years old. It has been repaired twice. The thing I love about it is that it has simple stitches no fancy stuff and can handle any fabric.
I started on an old Singer treadle sewing machine, then went through one cheap machine after another that would grab the fabric like PacMan on a feeding frenzy and tear it up. Oh the number of projects that were ruined getting pulled down by the feed dog! Over the 50 years I have been sewing up to 18 hours a day I went through a lot of machines. Yes, sewing that much a day will wear them out but a good machine is worth the money and frustration in the end if you can afford the initial outlay and won’t destroy your fabric or nerves! Finally in 2001 I got my dream machine a Husqvarna Designer 1. I love the wide variety of stitches, attachments, and feet, and the ability to do embroidery on my doll clothing and other sewing items. It has been working great for 17 years now. I also use a serger in my sewing.
I use a Bernina 880 Plus and I love the dual feed option on the machine. It’s like using a walking foot, but with all different kinds of feet. I also like the stitch quality and the wide stitch plate.
