Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

I use a brother sewing machine. My favorite thing about it is the stitches that look the same on the front of the fabric and the back.
I use a White 915, its basic but it does everything I need and is pretty tough!

I have a singer machine. It’s easy to use and I like the decorative stitches.
I use my grandma’s old singer. I like that it is easy for a beginner to get started.
I use an Elna machine that I’ve owned for 40+ years. My machine and I have worked many yards of fabric throughout the years! It is tried, true, and dependable.
I use 70s Kenmore sewing machine. It was my first and only machine and it hasn’t failed me yet.

I use a Bernina 1230 sewing machine. The thing I like most is the consistent great performance even after 28 years of hard use.
I use an old Husqvarna. The best thing about it is that it is my grandma’s old machine and i feel like she is sewing with me whenever I use it!!
I use a Bernina 560 now. I love that I can use the 5.5mm stitch plate to do my Heirloom sewing but also have the 9mm stitch plate for embroidery. After years of using a Bernina 932 for sewing and a Babylock Elageo for embroidery I can now do it all on one machine…more room for supplies!

I use my Singer 534 sewing machine that my ex-husband bought for me in 1980. I love using it, because it is a simple model that is easy to use.
I use a Husqvarna Scandanavia as my main machine. I love it because it’s basic and it’s a workhorse. I also have a Janome serger, which I love because I got it free out of my in-laws’ crawlspace – 20 years old and never taken out of the box!

I use a Singer sewing machine. The thing I like about it is it is easy to use, and it has different stitches I can use on it. My mother and grandmother had Singers as well and we keep that in the family. I have had great luck with mine making many types of doll clothes now.
I use a Viking sewing machine. The thing I like most about it is the “needle down” function and how easy it is to use when sewing tiny things!!
I use a 1970’s vintage Singer sewing machine. It is very basic and dependable. What I like best about it is that it belonged to my grandmother. She made many dolls, doll clothing, stuffed animals and clothes using this very machine. Sewing brings back memories of her.

I sew on a beautiful Babylock Destiny (my retirement toy) and I love it because it does everything!! Sews, embroiders, quilts, makes designs, etc. Whether it is sewing doll clothing, or quilting a king size quilt, she does it all perfectly.

I use my Husqvarna Topaz 30, I like it because I can use it for sewing and embroidery work and it is easy enough for my grand daughter to use as well. We enjoy sewing clothes for her doll together.
I use a Singer Brilliance sewing machine. I Love all the different stitches so I can add a bit of flare to clothing for my daughter and her dolls.

I use a Singer 500 and a Singer 401A as my go to machines. I like them so much better than my new machines because they are reliable! They are all metal, no computer parts to break, so I can fix them myself if needed.

I have a few sewing machines but my favorite is the Singer Featherweight my Mother got shortly before I was born. Every time I use it I think of her making me clothes or showing me how to sew. Fond memories. But I refuse to say how old it is!

I use a Brother XL-3750. I like it because it’s simple to use, was not terribly expensive, and does everything I need it to do. It’s a pretty basic machine, but it does have some fancy stitches, just not a ton of them. But I never use them so that wasn’t what I was looking for in a machine. I needed to replace one that had died on me, and I didn’t want to pay a lot. This one was a good price, and does everything I need it to do. It’s great.
I use a Pfaff Creative Performance and love it for the IDT.
I use a 24 year old white’s machine and I love to sew but special fabrics and small seams are a challenge- not sure I need a new machine but might need to replace the foot. All my pixie patterns have gone well even with my limitations. Thank you
I use a Singer 301 from 1956. I like that it is a fast, powerful, quiet and precise straight stitcher which is perfect for doll clothing and Sew Powerful Purses. And it’s just a cool feeling using a vintage machine.
A simple Singer machine, it may not do a lot but, I love it because, it get me where I need to go in sewing.

I just received a new brother sewing and embrodrey machine for Christmas from my husband. I have a lot to learn on it but so far I m just loving it

I use a Brother ULT2003D sewing/embroidery machine, and I live in fear of the day it finally quits. (My friend had the same machine and hers died a year ago ?). The thing I like most about it is everything! It has absolutely done everything I’ve ever asked it to do!

I use a Pfaff Creative 2170 I absolutely love it. This machine will do many decorative stitches but I love the embroidery the most. I sew everyday. I love to make doll clothes. My granddaughter would love to have a Wellie Wisher and many clothes that I could make for her.

I use a BERNINA 750 and I love the even feed feature. It’s like having a walking foot on no matter which foot I need. It’s great for those little Wellie clothes.

I use a Brother sewing machine. There is lots to love about it, however, what I appreciate most when I’m making a purse, is that I can Sew through thick layers without a problem.
I have four sewing machines but use my Pfaff 1475 for sewing knits because of the built in walking foot, I have a simple Viking that I use for wovens and to go places for quilting and so forth, a brother Ult Disney for all my embroidery and an Elna serger.
I use a Viking 955. One of the things I like about it is the speed control option. My granddaughter isn’t afraid to sew by herself.

I use a baby lock ellisimo machine. It is also an embroidery machine. I love it. I like the fact that you can cut the stitches.
I sew on a Babylock Espire. I love the ability to do some embroidery and it makes fabulous buttonholes!
I use a Brother mid level emb/sewing machine. I like it for its ease of use. I used it for embroidery until I bought my multi needle machine. Not I use it strictly for sewing. It’s a workhorse.
I use a Viking Ruby deluxe machine because it is dependable and a real work horse. It handles everything I put in it! My daughter inherited my Viking 1+ when I purchased the Ruby. 1+ is now over 30 years old and still going strong. Embroidery software no longer supported, but still sewing like a dream.

I taught myself to sew on a Singer Featherweight many years ago.
Since them I converted to a Viking, it’s easy to use. In fact I wore out my Viking 6440 and have a newer one. I taught my granddaughter and a grandson to sew on my Viking.
I use a Kenmore that we bought right after our Wedding 51 years ago in 2 weeks. The thing I like best about it is I have sewed everything on it and it sews heavy mens blue jeans as well as my daughter’s formals and baby blessing outfits.
I use a Viking Ruby. The thing I like most about it is the embroidery feature, followed closely by how easy it is to use! It is the third Viking I have had, and I also have a Biking serger.
I use a brother laura ashley cx155la sewing machine and a Brother serger I love them both because I never have any issues and they do exactly what I need them to do!
I use a Singer. What I like most is it’s easy enough for my 8 year old granddaughter to use.
I use a Necchi brand sewing machine. It isn’t at all fancy, and I suppose what I like best about it is the fact that it was a gift! I also use a Singer serger; I love having a serger to finish off edges and prevent fraying in my projects.
Brother but have others, love that it cuts thread!

I use a Juki commercial tailoring machine… The thing I like most about it is it sews all types of materials. I wore out three home machines before I invested in a commercial machine. I also use a commercial iron.
