My favorite tradition is on Christmas eve when we wrap presents and watch “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
My favorite holiday tradition is cooking the dinner as a family. Everyone participates and we laugh and hug throughout the day.
My favorite Holiday tradition is hanging out in the kitchen, trying to help “Mom” with making tamales. All the grandkids love different types, so they’re in & out checking to see if they’re done, especially when they were young they’d do a happy dance if their favorite was out first!
My favorite Holiday tradition is spending Christmas morning with friends and family.
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree. I have ornaments that have been given to me over the years, and as I hang them on the tree I remember those people.
My favorite is the whole family gathering at one of our houses on Christmas day every year at the same time for gift opening then turkey dinner. Nobody has missed it the gift opening yet, but sometimes they have to leave to go to in laws for dinner. We’ve been doing this for over 30 years.

My new favorite tradition (now that family is grown)… is to drop anonymous gifts around town. This year was a Christmas book…with a tag that said “if you found this…Merry Christmas!!” I left some at restaurants, at the post office, hospital, etc.
My favorite holiday tradition is how we sit in a circle and take turns, opening one present at a time. It allows each of us to enjoy watching the others open their presents :-)

My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies with my sister. We put Christmas movies on and inevitably have a cookie dough fight at some point during the day :)
My favorite Christmas tradition is to stuff stockings and empty them on Christmas morning. The stockings are big (they could fit a small child) so all sort of items. Each year the contents change. One year when things were tough- – it was toothbrushs, toothpaste, vitamins, cold/flu medication, and other things that Moms want there adult kids to have when they can’t afford it.
My favorite Christmas tradition is spending time with family, sometimes it not on Christmas day. We often times go to a great movie in Imax theaters, just to slow down from sll the rush of the holiday.
My favorite Holiday tradition is driving around with cocoa and coffee and looking at Christmas lights.
My favourite holiday tradition is watching the kids open their presents on Christmas eve. We have our celebration then so the parents can celebrate with the other side of the family on Christmas day.
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting up and cooking my favorite ham and taking it down to my husbands mothers where every one meets for the wonderful festivities of eating our Christmas meal, then opening presents with the kids, grandkids and great grandkids and family and playing Dirty Santa and just having a wonderful with our lived ones. Things the kids made in school, gifts from friends and family, ornaments picked up during vacations. Each piece is put on the tree with a comment about it’s origin. As much as I love the beautifully decorated mall trees, I would not give up this precious tradition.

My favourite family tradition is the family gathering and a sumptuous Christmas dinner. Watching the grandchildren enjoy the day fills a book of happy memories.
My favorite holiday tradition is family time, of course! We spend time with our DD and her husband who live nearby and his family and talk with our son in Seattle, as well as all our relatives in NE & OK. Merriest of holidays to all Pixie Faire followers!

My Favorite Holiday Tradition is attending Christmas Eve Service. I am 64 years old and I can only recall missing 2 Christmas Eve Worship Services. One was due to traveling, and the other was due to illness. We have made 5 moves to different states in the 44 years we have been married, so I have attended Christmas Eve Worship Service in several different denominations and traditions. All are special to me. Worship our Lord and Savior should always be first!
The simple wood cradle we put under the Christmas tree with a baby doll in it. My grandfather made it for my mother when she was a little girl. I never knew him, but it is special for the tie to previous generations and the symbolism of the Christ Child.

Christmas breakfast is kowatezej, a Polish nut bread. I make it for my brothers since my mom is gone. YUM!
My family was never very good at keeping traditions. But I think I just discovered a new one for myself! I found Pixie Faire last year after Christmas and when I saw all the fun stuff given away for the Twelve Days of Christmas, I couldn’t wait to participate in it this year! My favorite Holiday tradition is giving my children and grandchildren a Christmas ornament. This tradition was started by my mom. All the children get a Hallmark ornament. My daughters have 18 Haollmark ornaments.
My favorite tradition is eating cinnamon rolls on Christmas mornings. One fresh from the oven has just been brought to me. Yum!

My favorite is remembering how Christmas used to be – Christmas programs in Churches and Schools. And as we left being given a small brown paper sack filled Christmas candy, an apple, mixed nuts, an orange and one chocolate mound candy. There WAS Good Will Toward All back then!

Going to church with family Christmas eve and coming home to hot soup for supper. My grandchildren get new pjs and a game to open. They are big enough that they now read the Christmas story and The Night Before Christmas to the adults. They play carols on their guitar and violin for us.
