My favorite tradition is baking cookies with my mom and then frosting them with all of the little cousins. A few of the decorations are questionable every year, but no one minds a yellow snowman if its just the frosting that’s yellow!!
My favorite holiday tradition is having a family dinner of homemade tamales and watching the little ones open their presents.
My favorite holiday tradition is the whole family gathering to make tamales.

It is so much fun to watch the children’s faces in the morning as they open their own special Christmas socks. Each sock has their name and a different Santa scene knitted in it. This year we added our 31st stocking to the family. But the best part is family sharing the birth of Jesus and love for each other.

The older grandkids that are not as fascinated with the tradition of fudge anymore share grandpa making cookies in the afternoon and and helping to set out the family “feast”. How wonderful it is adding children to the groups. Grandpa and I both love spending the day with the kids and the parents come about 6 in the evening. Spoiling the kids is such fun.
