My favorite Holiday Tradition is for the family to gather around the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve and we each one One gift. As a child this was the most exciting part of Christmas.

A new tradition, but favoured by all of us, is hiding the gifts around the house on Christmas eve and having the children stumble upon them throughout the day on Christmas day. Santa leaves his note by the cookies and milk and sends them on a “scavenger hunt”. It’s so much fun!!!! Merry Christmas ?

A new one for me. My son puts flour on the flour and makes Santa Footsteps from the fireplace to the tree.
My favorite Christmas tradition is having a secret Santa at the family dinner. When handing out the presents everyone has to read a poem about the present, so everyone has a chance to guess what it is. Plus the family picture every year.

Every year for the past 15 years my daughters and grandkids have their pictures taken and that is the best gift I ever receive. I have years of memories on my walls. I live near all of them now that I am retired so I don’t need to travel 3 hours each way to spend Christmas with them. I have given my granddaughters many doll clothes over the years and many of them were from the patterns I get from Pixie/Liberty! They were all loved.

My favorite holiday tradition is family. Getting to reconnect with those I don’t see often and even with those I see on a daily basis. Good family and good friends make the holidays so special.
My favorite tradition has become making salt dough handprints painted like Santa faces. One day I will have enough to cover my whole tree.
My favorite holiday tradition is serving at the soup kitchen and helping others. We are very blessed to have the birth of the Savior and His atonement so we can return to our Father in Heaven.

Our new family tradition is put a pic of my Daughter Jenn as our Angel as our tree topper.
Jenn died September 2016. She really is our Angel, my grandchildren made the Angel topper and then we put her picture on it.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is baking with my family. My kids and I go to my mom’s house, where my sister joins us. We bake the same recipe that my mom baked as a little girl with her mom and sister.

My favorite memory of this time was they had to shoot an arrow to knock down all the cans to get their next crayon to color their picture. And open a small dollar store gift for completing the game.

My favorite holiday tradition is decorating my whole house inside and out. I have a tree in every room decorated in the theme of that room. My tree in my sewing room has ornaments having to do with sewing or crafting. I’m always on the lookout for fun ornaments to make or buy. Merry Christmas to all at Pixie Faire.

It’s so nice to have everyone together including my 94 year old mother-in-law. It’s wonderful to be able to spend time together.

My favorite Christmas tradition was to have Christmas morning and dinner with my parents. We started this at my first Christmas after I married since I still had siblings at home. I had Christmas every year until both my parents were gone when I was 62. My children never minded leaving their presents to go to Granny’s house.

Then it gets real quite as we hold hands and pray, thinking about the one’s we are missing. Sharing the love and companionship that just seems to fill the day like no other day does and watching the new and little ones as they grow into our tradition. Sharing and Loving that happens all day.

Honestly, my favorite Christmas tradition is sewing American Girl Doll Clothes, in the past for my daughter, and now for my granddaughters. With the gift comes a discussion of Family History and Ancestors and Christmas history, traditions, and anecdotes from past holidays, tying our family members together through the generations!
Buying or making my kids matching pajamas (even though they now range in ages 33-25) and opening them on Christmas Eve with A glass bottle of Coke and taking their picture for next years Christmas card
My favorite Christmas tradition is baking cookies with our family before Christmas. You have to make sugar cookie cut outs in all kids of Christmas shapes. I even have the cookie cutters my late grandma used ot make cookies for my cousins and I.

My favorite holiday tradition is getting my children and grandchildren together for family food and fun on Christmas Eve. With 10 grandkids from 22-13 years of age, it’s the only way to get us all together and allow everyone to Spend Christmas with other friends and family. I started this when my oldest got married, and now his family host the annual get together.

The traditions start on Nov 1 taking down Halloween and pulling all the Christmas decorations and such out.I can’t think of one because they all are my favorite .It is a beautiful time of year outward and inward !
As my children are not able to be with me at Christmas, my holiday has changed. I plan a fun project and tasty food. I play music, take a walk and celebrate, filled with gratitude for all I have.

My favorite tradition over Christmas is sharing my love for the Savior’s birth with my husband who is not a Christian. We have kept our marriage solid because everyday Jesus interacts with us and I can see subtle changes all around me!! I have developed certain traditional elements that my spouse has learned to gravitate to and accept. Also, every year he sees the joy and family time as a true extension of God’s love in more ways than I ever imagined since we were first married!!
