My favorite holiday tradition is giving that one gift that is really wanted but not expected and see the joy in the receivers face. This Christmas was for my granddaughter and when she opened it she was speechless for at least a minute. That was my joyous moment.
My favorite holiday tradition is making stollen – a German Christmas bread. Our recipe had been passed down through my father’s family. The recipe makes 7 loaves at a time – a huge batch of dough that everyone helps make and then knead. We look forward to the family fun of making it and then eating it! It’s delicious!

My favorite Holiday tradition is going to look at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve. We drink hot chocolate and eat cookies while enjoying the beautiful decorations.
