I craft as a ministry. When I figure out what I’m doing, I will spend at least a couple hours a day on the project. It usually takes about a week per project, but I have had some that took a month. People tell me I should make to sell, but no one would want to pay for the many hours of hand sewing, painting or knitting. https://pin.it/6Iy2zA2

I sew as my hobby making gifts for my family and friends but I don’t spend as much time as I’d like to in my sewing room. I cannot schedule a set amount of time to sew each week but I might spend as much as 8 hrs one day if I get going on a new project. I like to add machine embroidery to most of my sewing projects and that can be time consuming picking out designs, selecting fabric types and matching thread colours. I used to knit and crochet a lot but haven’t done any for a long time.
